Officials and Coaches Clinics

Training for Clinic Administrators was held in Baltimore, MD December 1 - 3, 2006.  For the fourth year in a row Chuong Pham and Steven Dring conducted the Olympic Sparring portion of the training.  AAU Taekwondo is thankful for the knowledge and experience that they share to help improve the quality of Taekwondo competition in the United States.  Thank you to all the Clinic Administrators for your dedication, your time and your effort during this weekend and throughout the year. 

This annual three day continuing education training has been a key component to insure the success of the AAU Taekwondo Program.  Clinic Administrators will go forward from this training to conduct clinics across the country.  All Officials and Coaches must take an annual clinic at the local level.  Annual clinics insure that Officials are current on the rules, interpretations and applications needed to conduct the competition. These clinics give Coaches the information they need to prepare there athletes to compete within the rules.  Dates for local 'Officials and Coaches Clinics' are being scheduled now.
