Clinic must be attended yearly in order to participate in AAU Sanctioned events.  You must attend a 2007 clinic prior to participation in any 2007 event.  Look for a clinic near you for the 2007 competition year.  Click Here for scheduled clinics.

Referees' and Coaches' Education/Certification
The AAU administers the foremost National Referees and Coaches licensing program in the country. Rigorous certification standards set by the AAU ensure the highest caliber of AAU Taekwondo tournaments recognized by practitioners throughout the country. Officials and Coaches must be certified by the Officials Program Administrator to officiate or coach at any AAU Sanctioned Taekwondo event.

AAU Taekwondo Officials' Program Mission Statement

• The AAU Taekwondo Officials' Program is dedicated to safe, fair competition, free of politics, held at the District, Regional and National levels.

• We will strive for excellence through continuous officials' training at District, Regional and National levels by identifying our best officials to work competitions.
• We will endeavor to have the best Officials' Program of any martial arts organization in the U.S.

AAU Individual Membership Fees  

If you participate as an athlete, adult or youth, at any AAU Sanctioned event you need an AAU Athlete Membership ($12 for Youth 17 and under, $22 for Adult 18 and up).  If you are an Instructor/Coach or Official at any AAU Sanctioned event you need an AAU Non-Athlete Membership ($14).
