Youth Leadership Award Winners Minimize

Youth Leadership Award
An award of $1000.00 for higher education will be given to honor one male and one female Black Belt between the ages of 15 and 18 that exemplifies the qualities of leadership that inspire us all. An applicant's resume is submitted by their instructor for consideration by a three person review committee. All those that have had their resumes submitted are of the highest quality and are young people to be admired.

Chris Canning Award of Excellence
This award was given to one junior Black Belt with the rank of 1st degree Black Belt or above, within the AAU Taekwondo organization who demonstrated the competitive spirit, athletic accomplishments and personal attributes set as standards of the award.  In conjunction with the presentation of a trophy there was also a $1,000 scholarship to the recipient for further martial arts training or higher education.
