AAU Team results from the 2005 German Open
1 Gold, 2 Silvers and 6 Bronze Medals
3rd Place in Team Standings
The 2005 German Open was attended by 888 athletes from 29 countries. The AAU Taekwondo Team placed 3rd in Team Results. Egypt was 1st, followed by Turkey. We are so proud of the AAU Taekwondo Team bringing in 3rd.

At least five AAU team members missed a medal by one point or Judges decision. We are sorry to report Sanaz Shahbazi injured her knee and had to withdraw. She was ahead when her injury occurred. We wish her a speedy recovery.
