Master Kim Heaney, Owner of Chesapeake Martial Arts tested for her 7th Dan Black Belt in the art of Tae Kwon Do at her school located in Ocean City, Maryland on Friday, November 14, 2014.  Presiding over her testing was Grand Master Mark Giambi, 8th Dan who is the director of the AAU Dan Certification program. Master Heaney successfully passed her test and has become the 3rd woman to reach the level of 7th Dan through AAU Tae KwonDo! She is very proud of her achievements and would like to thank Grand Master Giambi for making this possible.   Master Heaney has been a member of the AAU since 1997 as well as a registered club with her school Chesapeake Martial Arts.  She also began coaching & officiating in 1999 with AAU in Regional, Jr. Olympics and National events. She tested for her 6th Dan with AAU at the National Championships in July 2007.
